Best Air Max Day Releases

For Air Max Day 2026, we’re going to look back on some of our favorite Air Max Day releases.

From silhouette switch-ups to the city-inspired, we’ll take you through a trip down AM lane, and we’ll give you some tips on how to keep these grails clean. 
 
Sean Wotherspoon 1/97 (2018) 

Bold in nature, masterpiece by chance, if anyone was going to make a mixed silhouette, it would be avid designer Sean Wotherspoon. This hybrid silhouette consisting of a 97 upper and Air Max 1 was a true collector's gold.

Air Max 1 “86 ‘Big Bubble’ (2023) 

It was iconic in ’86, and it just got even better in 2023. The sneaker in keeps with traditional AM1 elements but offers a few upgrades. Wider toe box? Check, higher ankle cut? Check and a 4-pillared Air unit? Now we’re talking.

Air Max 90 ‘Duck Camo’ (2020) 

2020 levelled up the playing field by putting a touch of Duck Camo back into our lives with a spin. Nodding to the atmos 2013 colab, this one utilised an inverted Camo design, which deservedly formed part of Nike’s revered ‘Cult Classics’ range.
